Meet Jazzmyne!

I am a proud Urban Educator in Washington, DC, with over 14 years of teaching experience in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Throughout my career, I have read and enjoyed countless children's stories and I am excited to add my voice to the conversation surrounding developing a lifelong love of Literacy!

I am a ceaseless Creative! When Im not in front of my students, Im likely Baking, Painting, or Decorating! The creative process is often messy, and all encompassing. But what I enjoy most is: risk taking, using ingenuity, and finding inspiration in the ordinary. The process of investigation, incubation and illumination continues to propel my everyday life!

I have been afforded the opportunity to positively impact the lives of children by laying an academic foundation that encapsulates the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for navigating and remaking an ever changing world. It has been an honor to create space for diverse groups of children to develop and flourish as future leaders, creators and change agents!
